Andco SMS.
Andco sends SMS messages to clients of subscribing law firms for two purposes: (a) one-time passcodes ("OTP") used to authenticate access to the Andco client portal, and (b) account and case notifications such as document request reminders, signature requests, and status updates on the client's case.
You provide consent to receive SMS messages from Andco when you open a case with a law firm that uses Andco. During intake (in person or by phone), firm staff read the SMS consent disclosure aloud and record your agreement on a signed consent form. Your consent is logged with a timestamp.
The consent disclosure reads: "I agree to receive SMS messages from Andco regarding my case, including one-time passcodes and account notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel."
Message frequency varies based on activity on your case. You may receive OTP messages each time you log in to the client portal, and account notifications as documents are requested, signed, or updated. On average, clients receive fewer than 10 messages per month, though active cases may generate more.
Message and data rates may apply. Andco does not charge a fee for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving text messages based on your mobile plan. Contact your carrier for details.
Reply HELP to any message from Andco to receive information about the program and contact details. You can also email support@useandco.com for assistance.
Reply STOP to any message from Andco at any time to unsubscribe. Opt-outs are honored immediately, and your number will be suppressed from future sends. You will receive one confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS messages from Andco, which may affect your ability to receive OTPs and case notifications.
Andco SMS is compatible with all major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, and Virgin Mobile. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your phone number and message history are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including the dedicated SMS / Mobile Opt-In Information section.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent records are not shared with any third parties for any purpose.
Information collected through the SMS program (your mobile phone number and consent record) is used only to deliver the messages described above and to maintain records of your consent. All other categories of data may be shared with subprocessors as described in the Privacy Policy, but mobile opt-in data and SMS consent records are excluded from that sharing.
